The Writing Stuff
When did you start writing?
I've been writing stories since elementary school, and even tried to write a spooky one in fifth grade! English and writing have always been my passion.
What inspired you to become an author?
My favorite books as a kid were the Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan. I've always wanted to write something so involved and influential as that.
What does your writing routine look like?
I have a blog post about that here! But typically, I write for 2-4 hours a day with a relatively strict set of requirements (comfy clothes, a caffeinated beverage, a snack, and a cat).
Are you a plotter or a pantser?
A plotter, through and through! Extensive research, plotting, and planning are my jam.
Do you listen to music while writing?
Yes! As a horror writer specifically, I tend to listen to things like the Resident Evil soundtracks more often than not. Might be crazy, but I enjoy it.
For Readers
Where should I start with your work?
Nowhere, since there's nothing out yet! But feel free to explore the blog, and see if any of my work would interest you when its published!
Do you books connect together, or exist in the same world?
Not intentionally!
What content warnings apply to your work?
Horror always comes with a silent tag that content might not be suitable for everyone. When my works are closer to being published, content and trigger warnings will be readily available. Note: I don't intend to be a splatterpunk-genre author, if that helps.
Can I join a newsletter or mailing list?
While I don't have a specific way to do that yet, you're always free to fill out my contact form here and I can send it out to you :)
